How do we use faith to help us when life keeps tossing things at us that seem determined to hold us back?

When you were younger, did you ever think God was actually showing you the way to live? Even though I felt connected to Him growing up, I don’t know that I would have said He was guiding my steps. Looking back now, I can see He was. At the time, I simply didn’t recognize it.

I’ve heard that phrase a few times over the years. Usually from one of my parents. They weren’t wrong.

It doesn’t seem to matter how many times we are reminded. We drift. We disconnect. We find our own way again.

Our life stories are interesting things. When we are little, we play and dream without any idea of what is ahead. We do not know what we will face, who we will meet, or what will shape us. But somewhere deep down, we seem to know that life will not always be easy.

Can you imagine your life if God didn’t hear a word of your prayers?

If we’re honest, we’ve all asked it… why follow Jesus? What’s the point?

Have you ever heard God speak? Maybe through Scripture, a song, or the quiet moments of your day? What did He say?

Do you play hide and seek with God? Have times you are with God and times without?

How do you reconcile your life? When you get to a certain point how do you connect with the Spirit to understand “What now?”

What would you do if an angel told you that God wanted you to do something extraordinary?

Have you ever heard about people who say they encountered God? How did they know that?

What would your life look like if you lived expecting Jesus to return at any moment? How would your priorities change?

Can we know how God thinks? Do we truly feel like we have it figured out? If not us, then who?

How do you spend your time? What season are you in? Is what you are experiencing going to last forever?
