When you were younger, did you ever think God was actually showing you the way to live? Even though I felt connected to Him growing up, I don’t know that I would have said He was guiding my steps. Looking back now, I can see He was. At the time, I simply didn’t recognize it.

I’ve heard that phrase a few times over the years. Usually from one of my parents. They weren’t wrong.

It doesn’t seem to matter how many times we are reminded. We drift. We disconnect. We find our own way again.

What I like about reading the Bible is landing on verses that hit close to home. This one tied to David is one of those for me. In a lot of ways, David shows just how flawed a man can be and still stay connected to God.

This one is tough for me. There are times I catch myself wondering… is this all just one big game?

There are times when I run across people and wonder what they are thinking especially when it comes to the idea of faith in God.

Yesterday we celebrated an empty tomb. Today we wake up to alarms, emails, responsibilities, and unfinished projects. Easter Sunday was powerful. But Easter Monday is where it gets personal.
