What I like about reading the Bible is landing on verses that hit close to home. This one tied to David is one of those for me. In a lot of ways, David shows just how flawed a man can be and still stay connected to God.

Our life stories are interesting things. When we are little, we play and dream without any idea of what is ahead. We do not know what we will face, who we will meet, or what will shape us. But somewhere deep down, we seem to know that life will not always be easy.
